NHS Professionals working in partnership with Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust are looking for an experienced perinatal mental health nurse.
Cluster 3 - The Specialist Perinatal CMHT is commissioned to support women who experience high-risk mental health problems during and after pregnancy, and for their infant up to the age of one year.
The team will work to provide assessment, care and treatment including; the prevention, detection and management of maternal mental health problems that complicate pregnancy and the postpartum year.
The post holder will be responsible for the ongoing assessment of women within the service and providing a range of needs-led interventions and care. You will also be expected to deliver interventions and negotiate care plans with service users, families/carers and other professionals, and ensure that quality and timely care is delivered at all times.
There is also a duty worker element to this role, which will be carried out to support the Referral/assessment system.
